This is the first #tidylife post of 2017, so an ideal opportunity to share my plans for the website this year.
You may notice the site is looking a bit different; it’s under construction right now, as I love to start the New Year with a different blog template. For me, it is just like decorating a room – it always feels lovely and fresh! I hope you’ll like it.
Stay tuned this year for hot home interior trends and homeware buys, magic makeovers and some gorgeous giveaways along the way.
I’m feeling really motivated to make #tidylife a great online read, with heaps of feel-good inspiration and visual eye candy to inspire your home improvements.
There will certainly be more decorating happening in our home – although we may not have a big budget, that doesn’t mean we can’t have big ideas! Whether you are up for small improvements that you can do in a weekend, or tackling a complete room re-design, we can do it together. After all, home is where the heart is and if we can’t be content there, where can we be?
2016 seemed to whizz by, so this year I’d like to try and slow things down a bit and am going to look into the whole slow living trend.
I am also determined to finally nail some systems that get our daily routines in order and our lives better organised, including meal planning.
After feeling a bit under the weather at the end of 2016, the Christmas break has done me the power of good. I feel well again, excited about the opportunities ahead and my own personal goals involving career and fitness.
On a professional level, I’d love to do more interior styling work and exciting brand collaborations.
Personally, I am committed to ditching the middle age spread and improving my overall health & fitness, including core strength. All of which I’ll share a little of over in the Lifestyle section.
I suppose it was easy to feel negative about many things in 2016, but my aim is to be more optimistic about what 2017 holds. I think it can be great if we want it to be!
