Tidy Away Today featured in print and online

March has proved to be a mega-fun month for me as a blogger, with Tidy Away Today getting a fair few mentions here and there – some known about, others unexpected – all nice to receive!

First up, I was interviewed by Pinterest’s UK blog, The Pin Post, for a ‘Pinterview’ (love that word!) which you can read here

Another collaboration with Pinterest came as a bit more of a surprise.  I had been asked to provide a few tips about furniture makeovers by Pinterest for a journalist to possibly use in a feature, but I hadn’t properly grasped that I might be quoted twice in such a lovely four page spread in the April issue of At Home magazine.

Our kitchen gallery wall was included on the House of Fraser blog alongside others, such as the fabulous gallery wall of top home interiors blogger Kimberly, of Swoonworthy.

Meanwhile over at Lighting Majestic (one of the UK’s largest online lighting stores), my blog made their weekly list of  ’inspirational interior blogs’ otherwise known as ‘Majestic Monday‘ (Issue 6).

Then a couple more kind mentions came from bloggers I respect very much; Jen from Love Chic Living in an online interview said my blog name in the same sentence as Bright Bazaar *hyperventilates* amongst other blogs that I greatly admire.  Whilst Rachel from Corner by Corner said she found inspiration from two of my projects, which was lovely.

I already knew that I get a buzz from blogging, but such mentions are really gratifying, so thank you to everyone who name-checked or featured Tidy Away Today recently… *virtual hugs*

And in other news this month, I have launched an additional blogging venture – called ‘Style Ican‘ which is about me trying to find a bit of personal style in my forties (wish me luck with that!) and sharing hair/beauty/clothes bargains/finds and tips that I spy along the way – all on a budget, of course – and a few giveaways thrown in for good measure.  I’d love for you to join me over there sometime. :-)

Such a positive March and it isn’t even over yet!  Since I’m going to be so busy blogging, to inspire me I thought I would give my desk area a mini-makeover, so that is next on the home project list and therefore I am on the hunt for ideas; so if you have seen any gorgeous workspace makeovers recently that I should know about, I’d love you to share them with me.
