Today I’ve got a fun infographic to share with you! If you’re thinking about upgrading your office chair anytime soon, have you considered what the style and colour you choose says about you?
These days, we don’t just want a functional office chair, but one that looks good too. Furniture Works have come to the conclusion that every office chair has a celebrity style to match and that we all tend to have a favourite one that we identify with. So let’s take a closer look at their #MYCHAIRSTYLE infographic and see if you agree!
Here are my thoughts on these styles:
Mesh is quite a distinctive look that suggest ‘edgy’ or alternative – so if that’s you, this could be the style to complement your desk. Mesh chairs are also often ergonomic in design, so great if your aim is to keep your back healthy.
Leather to me says quality and distinction, but it can also be a bit ‘rockstar’ so if you appreciate the finer things, or have a little rebellious streak in you, then you may seek out a leather office chair.
Black & white stripes are kind of timeless and effortlessly cool, so if you love monochrome in your wardrobe or home, this is probably the chair for you.
Meanwhile, colour lovers can’t resist bright, bold hues. To give your office an instant pop of cheeriness, you can’t really go wrong with a fiery statement colour like red or orange. Go bold or go home!
The boho trend has been really big lately so if you enjoy those chilled hippy vibes and love nature and the outdoors, then a natural wooden office chair is going to appeal to you.
Red Leather screams rock chick to me – you probably love a red lip or shoe and have a direct, dynamic personality. Go big, go red!
Classic style lovers will probably choose a tasteful cream leather chair to blend in seamlessly with their neutral environment and will add a calming tone to the office.
Do you identify with a celeb’s sense of style? And have you ever thought about how much your sense of style influences the way you decorate and the furniture you shop for? You can find more office chair inspiration at www.furniture-work.co.uk/office-chairs
