Black Friday Cyber Monday Deals: My Top Picks for the Home

If you’re hunting for new furniture and accessories, this is a great season to get a good deal. Of course, I’m talking about the upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday events.

Unusual chest of drawers
Mellal 8 Drawer Chest £365.99 to £337.99

It’s easy to be a bit skeptical and think there aren’t many genuine offers to be had, especially when discounts seem to be given all year round, for one reason or another. However, famous online retailer Wayfair has pledged to offer the ‘Best Black Friday Blowout’ alongside huge Cyber Monday discounts.

Early access starts on 22nd November until 6th December. In addition there will be limited flash deals every 3 hours and free shipping on all orders from 29th November to 2nd December. So if you’re after some home items, keep your eyes peeled during those dates.
Whilst I’m not about encouraging people to buy things for the sake of it, when they’re things you need and you can make a saving on them, why wouldn’t you grab a bargain? My advice for being a savvy shopper is to stick to the list of things you need and don’t get caught up in the hype, shopping needlessly. BelowI’ve picked out a few classic home items from Wayfair which are both practical and stylish, to enhance the interior of any home.

Around Christmas and New Year we probably do our biggest amount of TV watching and entertaining. So a gorgeous sideboard to serve drinks and nibbles from, or a chic media unit might be on your shopping list. Maybe one like this?

Dark wood and gold sideboard
Iraheta TV Stand for TVs up to 70″ £899.99 to £852.99

Are you in the market for a brand new sofa or statement armchair? I absolutely love this elegant design that harks back to the Art Deco age. What a fabulous shade of twilight blue.

Clanton Tub Chair (twilight) £499.99 to £454.99

A timeless statement light fitting for the home would be a wonderful addition, such as this chandelier:

Louise Chandelier £115.99 to £108.99

With its sparkling glass droplets, this versatile piece would be a great buy to grace a hallway, bedroom, dining room or living room. Whether your home is a period or modern property, a chandelier can work wonders at giving an elegant touch.

Similarly, a mirror is a must have accessory that can be moved around the home; you’ll always find a useful place for one. I really like this quirky circular design as it stands out from a regular round or rectangular mirror:

Circular statement mirror
Justin Mirror £179.99 to £160.99

And everyone can use a tall mirror to check their whole outfit before leaving the house for work or a social occasion. This sleek design would be perfect in both a hall and bedroom.

Tall elegant mirror
Dahlgren Full Length Mirror £209.99 to £196.99

Cushions, meanwhile, are one of the best ways to give a room an affordable, instant update. Choosing something with a metallic embellishment like this looks really exclusive:

Natalie Cushion Cover £17.99 to £15.99

Now that it’s definitely ‘rug season’ you can’t go wrong with an ethnic style rug design like this one. The boho rug is a massive trend in interiors with people placing them in bedrooms and living rooms to cosy up toes and bring decor bang up to date.

Lederer Off-White Area Rug (239cm x 305cm) £239.99 to £212.99

So that’s my round up of some of the best items to shop from Wayfair during this extravaganza. What I also love about these deals is you don’t need to set foot on the high street – simply order your Wayfair products from the comfort of your armchair.

Just a reminder of those all important Wayfair shopping dates and details:
