Blush pink is a really popular colour choice at the moment for home accessories. When paired with warm metallics such as brass or copper, this shade of pink looks contemporary and sophisticated. It is also stunning against concrete surfaces and grey walls.
Stylish homeware retailers, Cox & Cox have tapped into this trend by offering their customers a great selection of covetable blush pink items for the home. Recently they sent me a selection to style and I was keen to try them out in our recently revamped shower room, which is mainly grey. The room has clean lines and is quite masculine; up to now we’ve kept to zesty yellow towels and accessories, which look nice and punchy with the grey, but it’s good to have a change sometimes!
I really like the way these blush pink pieces have softened the look and added a touch of femininity. First up, we have the lovely tall Dipped Concrete Vase which is a grey and blush pink combo – if you love the concrete trend or anything two-tone, this is ideal and only £14.50.
Towels are great accessories to tie a bathroom colour scheme together and give your space a co-ordinated look. This one is a sweet Two-Tone Towel in grey and blush:
While the Cross Woven Towel is in all-over blush, with a nice textured cross motif.
I love the softness of these two towels – both in terms of colour and the way they feel. I was also pleased they each have a handy little loop to hang them up by:
Meanwhile, the gorgeous brass and Blush Ceramic Soap Dispenser adds a touch of luxury to the sink. It has a tactile rubberised coating and an organic shape – very appealing and a great way to give your bathroom a high end look. (So much nicer than a plastic bottle of soap!)
Without being too girlie, I think all these contemporary pink pieces work really well in our shower room, adding a gentle, luxe touch to the space, don’t you agree?
