DrillIing Pumpkins and a chance to win £1000 of Ryobi Power Tools!


The drilled pumpkins thing isn’t new, I’ve seen lots of lovely designs on Pinterest in the last couple of years, but we’ve never actually given it a go ourselves.

So this Halloween we decided to try out a quite simple but effective drilled design on our pumpkins –  and it was so easy to do!  After cutting lids and scooping out the pumpkins, I drew the letters B, O and O plus an exclamation mark with a wipeable marker pen.  I then followed the lines with the drill, creating make evenly spaced (ish) holes.  Easy peasy and very satisfying to do!


We’ll definitely do some more like this next year and attempt something a bit more challenging – maybe a sugar skull like this:
