HomeSense Homeware Haul & Win a Gift Card

HomeSense Homeware Haul I’m so happy that the first day of spring is just one week away, hurry up 20th March!

I’m starting to get the urge to tidy the garden and buy some spring plants for our outdoor containers and I’ve been ‘faffing’ in our conservatory, getting it ready for all that lovely sunshine.  With the glass cleaned, the next task was to add a lovely selection of plants and accessories from HomeSense.

For just a £50 spend, I feel like I got a really decent haul!  I love HomeSense because no two trips are the same; their buyers always ensure that there is a varied mix of new and interesting homeware available.

So what did I purchase?

Homeware Haul

Well, from left to right – the white hydrangea head and eucalyptus stems, which are all very realistic.  If you don’t have the time or money to pop out for fresh flowers, these are brilliant to give your home some floral appeal with prices starting around £1.99 per stem.

The dinky little succulents in square white ceramic planters were only £3.99 – again, they’re very convincing.

Golden pineapples still haven’t gone out of style!  They are here for the long game and this one is a real beaut.  Very Art Deco looking, it would be fab on a trendy bar cart as well.  It’s a trinket pot, too, which is handy in itself and at £12.99 was a bit of a steal!

The white vase and wooden drawers are the stylists own, by the way (I’ve always wanted to say that!).

Homeware for Spring

Then next up we have the bargain framed print; £8 people!  With the words, ‘Happiness is not a destination, it’s a way of life’ – something it doesn’t harm to be reminded of once in a while I reckon 😉

Urban jungle

The little pineapple print I already had, but the small succulent (which is totes realistic!) was another £3.99 bargain…

Faux succulents HomeSense

The larger potted plant, again faux, was just £6.99 which seemed a great price and would make a lovely Mother’s Day Gift.  The little decorative box beneath it is a nice way to add a bit of height when you are styling a flat surface – and there was a great range of pretty boxes at my local HomeSense store.

Realistic Faux Plants

So there you have it, a lovely little homeware haul which has transformed this area of our conservatory, making the sideboard a lovely focal point for the room and it cheers me up every time I look at it.

Now, how would you like to get shopping at HomeSense, too?  With a £20 gift voucher up for grabs, courtesy of the store, you could snag a collection of lovely little faux plants, or a leafy picture and a vase full of gorgeous faux blooms, maybe?  And of course now there is all that gorgeous Red Nose merchandise which is pretty irresistible, especially as it’s all for a good cause.  But whatever you choose, I know you’ll love it – so fingers crossed for that win!

Just follow the instructions below to enter and the more options you do, the better your chance of winning.  Competition closes in a little over two weeks.  Best of luck!
