This gorgeous range of home accessories called ‘Waves’ is a collection by Caslon & Co. Beautiful and contemporary, they possess a little vintage twist as the pattern was created using antique wooden printing blocks and traditional relief printing techniques. The final products are also made in the UK.
The Waves collection includes sofa cushions and seat pads, as well as range of storage baskets, pots and door stops. Each item is designed to help you organise your home in style and is available in two alternating colourways, Coral and Charcoal. The baskets, which feature a beautiful cotton rope handle can be used as a laundry basket or for clothing or toys in the bedroom. The pots are a multi use item, as they are lined with a water resistant fabric and can be machine washed, so they are ideal for house plants and herbs, to make-up. They come in three different sizes: Small 9x11cm at £11.99, Medium 11x14cm at £13.99 and Large 13x17cm at £15.99.
I was sent a couple of the pots to see them up close and try them in my home:
I love that they are both decorative and useful and the colours – coral and charcoal – are two of my favourites when put together. I think they look great with plants in as shown above, but as I’m not very reliable at looking after house plants, we don’t have any – so instead I’ve put the pots to use in our downstairs loo. Not only do they look gorgeous out ‘on show’ but they’re perfect for storing all the toiletries and other bits and pieces we often use in that room.
I also found it really interesting to see how the pattern for the waves collection is printed, you can watch it being done in this video:
Caslon & Co are offering a waves pot as a giveaway prize to one person and the winner can choose the colour and size of the pot they want. Enter via the Rafflecopter below, as always there are various entry options and you can do any or all.
