Tablecover Review and an Oilcloth Bag Giveaway

oilcloth tablecover

If you’ve got children, chances are you’ve got an oilcloth tablecloth.  If not, you should get one.  Being wipeable, they are great for easy cleaning up of juice, milk and food spills, as well as being an indispensable table protector when the kids are painting or crafting.

Quality can vary, I have found in the past, with some oilcloths feeling thinner than others, but there is always the option to add a padded table protector underneath for additional peace of mind.

Another thing I have found is sometimes a lack of choice in designs.  Some oilcloths can look a little old fashioned, so I was happy to be contacted recently by Wipe Easy Tablecloths who have lots of contemporary designs to choose from.  From traditional gingham to toddler friendly animals, vintage map prints to on-trend butterflies, polka dots to pirates, there really is a style to suit everyone.  There’s even a choice of cute Christmas themed covers for a seasonal change.  Prices are very reasonable too.

I was kindly sent a sample tablecover to try at home.  I chose a simple white star on a grey background and think it’s fab!  It looks stylish and, in the short time we’ve been using it, has already saved our oak table top from tomato soup spillage and felt tip marker pens that wiped right off (just to note, I did wipe fairly soon though, before it had chance to stain).

I’m really happy with mine, what do you think?  I picked the star design to go with the window film stars in our conservatory.
