We are super excited to have booked a holiday to Spain in a few weeks. This is our first family holiday abroad in several years and our youngest son’s first time ever on a plane!
Unfortunately my summer wardrobe is a bit meh, so I was thrilled when ‘Simply Be’ got in touch recently to let me choose some samples from their holiday shop. Although familiar with the name Simply Be, I hadn’t shopped the website before. Turns out they cater for sizes 12-32, which is great and the holiday shop has all the important items covered.
I thought about the staple holiday essentials I was missing – a beach bag, some sunnies, sandals, shorts and a couple of day dresses for exploring the city. So here’s what I chose:
Both dresses are £20 and the blue tile print babydoll dress has a nice cut out detail at the collarbone. It’s 100% viscose, so nice and lightweight:
The indigo t-shirt pocket dress is another easy to wear piece:
And I love the pom pom detail on these black shorts (£18):
Next, amazing value leather ‘Sole Diva’ sandals which come in a wide fit and are just £15! I opted for black, but really like the nude colour as well:
They come in tan, too. The sandals selection was very good I found, with lots of fashionable designs at affordable prices.
Also, you can’t go wrong with a pair of aviator sunglasses, these Propeller ones were again a bit of a bargain at £9.99 (and they are CE marked, category 3 which means they provide a good level of UV protection and sun glare reduction). Finally, a cute aztec design beach bag for that boho vibe (was £35 but now down to £15!):
Because my old holiday list is a bit out of date, I thought it would be a good idea to update it and so in case anyone finds it useful, I’ve whipped up a little graphic – you could print it off and tick off your items when you pack for your own holiday.
