I’m delighted to be partnering with the designer shoe company, Sargasso and Grey on today’s post and a giveaway!

In case you didn’t know, Sargasso & Grey is a British company and purveyor of the most comfortable, elegant and stylish wide fit shoes. For anyone with a wider foot, like me, you’ll understand what a nightmare shoe shopping can sometimes be. The number of beautiful shoes I’ve had to reject because they pinch the sides of my foot or crush my toes! Or sometimes I’ve bought them, thinking they’ll wear in eventually and in the meantime endured blisters and painful red marks… Well, the older I get, the less I am willing to compromise on footwear. They have to not only look good, but feel nice to wear, too.

I don’t go for heels much these days, preferring trainers and boots. But occasionally a lovely, dressy pair of shoes is called for. This is when the nightmare begins again! Killer heels that don’t kill? Do they exist? Well, yes they do at Sargasso & Grey, where it’s all about comfort without compromising on style.

You can shop for heeled sandals and court shoes, perfect for special occasions, as well as a range of wide fitting boots and flat pumps, too. The quality is exceptional with special features like memory foam padded insoles. Their EU sizes range from 36 to 43 (including half sizes).

Having winced in high heels that pinch and are impossible to walk any distance in, or wear all day at an event, I was keen to try a pair of beautiful high heeled shoes. I chose the Sally Extra Wide Fit Heeled Sandal as they’re a stunning, feminine design; I love the open toe, slender heel and stylish tie design.

The perfect occasion shoe, Sally with its EEE fitting comes in navy, green and electric blue. I love green and this shade is absolutely gorgeous in butter-soft suede. Not only that, they’re also currently on offer at 40% off (and there are other seasonal discounts on the website too!)

An extremely versatile design, able to take you to a wedding or a party, the Sally sandal is also perfect for a girls night out or just to dress up a pair of jeans.

Although I have quite a small foot (3/4 or euro 36/37), because of my wide fitting I often have to size up. However in the Sally sandals, I am a true size 3 (36). For the front of the shoe to accommodate my toes comfortably is quite the revelation! The 7cm heel height gives an effortlessly elegant look and of course suede as a material is lovely and malleable. Being a sandal they are totally cool and breathable, perfect for spring/summer.

2020 has been a challenging year so far and now that we’re coming tentatively out of lockdown and have the prospect of weddings and other celebratory events ahead, it’s great to know I now have a super stylish pair of shoes to take me anywhere in the future.

  126. The Black Suede And Leopard Print Hero Boots are gorgeous! I find finding shoes that fit such a pain and find wide fit ranges usually limited, so I love the fact I’ve discovered such gorgeous designs in wide fit!
