  1. Such lovely bedding. I think my tip would be to keep the bedroom free of clutter and only have accessories and bits and bobs that make your room feel homely and cosy.

  2. Decorate with restful colours, use blinds and curtains so you can block out light in summer months and keep heat in during winter.

  3. My cosy bedroom is great as I have a low light lamp and soft coloured painted walls with bright metallic triangles on two walls a bit like a parcel – makes me feel warm inside! xx

  6. Quality bedding makes such a difference to a rooms look and is worth the investment because it lasts so much longer .

  7. Make the bed every day and have a cosy bedspread on top. A nice reading chair with cushions and a throw make for a cosy reading area.

  8. Cosy is difficult as you need warmth but also ventilation. The recommendation for Covid-19 times is also lots of ventilation with an input as well as an output to blow the virus away. We have taken to opening front bedroom windows as well as back bedroom windows and doors and allowing a blow through every morning.

  13. Forget trends choose a style you love and built on that mine is romantic chic. chose tactile materials and lush curtains with black out. I have no tv in my bedroom but lots of cushions and throws so itโ€™s a cosy place to retreat to. Also keep the room clean and tidy

  15. My cost bedroom is neutral relaxing colours, low lights and nice and quiet. Unfortunately I have 2 small children so this is rarely the case in my room!

  16. It is very important that there is no clutter in the bedroom that can stop you from relaxing and falling asleep. I love candles so this is a must in the bedroom for me and not to hot or cold temperature is important too.

  17. my top tip is a white light for daytime in the winter! it feels like natural light so brightens up a cosy bedroom on a winters day

  18. Leave the bedside table lamps on a warm glow and always have the bed made so that you just want to jump in and snuggle up

  19. I think having a lovely elegant duvet cover with a really thick duvet is the best. Lots of cushions and a hot water bottle to hand!

  20. Clean Fresh Sheets, just the right temperature.. blackout curtains so no disturbance and if you have a snoring partner//// make him/her sleep in another room……. then you will have a blissful nights sleep…..

  21. Storage boxes are your friends, keep them funky and fun, and every night chuck in what needs tidying for a better nights sleep!

  30. My top tip for a cosy room is to invest in a cosy duvet – we have just bought a down quilt, it was expensive but it is so light, warm and cosy – I love it!

  31. Make sure you have a sweep through each week to get rid of those bits that can accumulate each day – eg things out of your pockets that get put on the side. Good quality bedding and light-blocking curtains
