3 Ways to Style a Large Christmas Star with Lights

Recently I discovered Sparkle Lighting, which is a UK based home lighting store offering a boutique range of lighting online. This company has its finger on the pulse when it comes to all things lighting, featuring popular Scandi, Boho and Modern lighting trends. So I was excited to see what their Christmas range would look like and I was not disappointed. I love their beautiful and affordable decorative lights and accessories, as they really help you to bring your personal interior style – and your home – to life.

Sparkle Lighting kindly sent me one of their delightful Christmas Star Lights, with 40 tiny warm LED bulbs, to try in my own home:

Available in black and white, they really add something to your festive decor. The large Christmas star decoration looks great by itself but you could also gather two or three on a wall for a real statement. You could also combine the black and white stars together. (The white star is 45 x 45cm and the black is 65 x 65cm.)

For indoor use only, the star is battery powered by 2x AAA (not included) in a sleek and discreet metal tube that actually just looks part of the light fitting. There is even a built in timer of 6 hours on and 18 hours off.

I think this versatile light is just so lovely, whether displayed as it comes, or decorated by yourself. So I thought I would share a little inspiration for styling it in three different ways.

Look 1: Simple Standing

Placed on my tiled fireplace, nestled amongst other Christmas decor, I think the star looks great and really at home:

Look 2: Natural & Nordic

Here I just added a sprig of faux eucalyptus and a couple of pine cones secured with florists wire. It literally took a few minutes and I really like the end result.

Look 3: Festive & Fun

Here I’ve added some glitter and shine in the form of a sparkly dark ribbon off one of my dresses and some baubles. So simple yet effective!

The key thing to remember is not to overload your star with heavy objects as it could damage the wire/battery pack.

Other Christmas Lighting

Of course this star is just one of a range of gorgeous Christmas lights from Sparkle Lighting that will make your home look and feel special this season. Some other designs that caught my eye were the beautiful twinkling Dandelion lights, perfect for outside your front door:

And back inside, how about some ‘bursting’ snowflake lights to dress up the interior in a magical way? Just beautiful!

Indoor Christmas Lights

You’ll also find string lights and more so why not head over for a look at the Sparkle Lighting website, whether you are seeking something specific or just after some inspiration for the Christmas period.
