Coolest Lighting Ideas for Outdoor Living

If you’d like to enhance your outdoor living space this season, you can of course include plants or some smart new furniture, but one of the quickest and most effective ways to do it is by adding some beautiful outdoor lighting.

I’ve been browsing and discovered a fantastic array of exterior lamps, lanterns and illuminated features that will add a real edge to your garden and a welcoming glow.  These are some of my current favourites:

This amazing Bubble LED is both a side table and a stool, proving that a light feature doesn’t have to be a standard wall or table lamp; it can be a piece of furniture too!  Such a practical and funky looking product – perch on it, rest your feet on top or use it to place a glass of wine and some snacks beside your chair.  It gives a beautiful glow that can change colour, too, thanks to the mulitcoloured LED!  Battery operated, this is a wonderful indoor/outdoor feature to enjoy as dusk falls.

Another eye-catcher is the El Rayo LED path lamp.  Featuring a striking lightning bolt design and energy efficient LEDs, it will brighten up any pathway or deck and light the way with its warm white light.  Suitable for use in all weather conditions!

Meanwhile, the stunning Light Stone XL is a truly versatile light that can float happily on a pond or sit just as comfortably on a path, balcony or terrace.  This luminous stone can even be controlled via Bluetooth from a smartphone or a tablet with the free Smart & Green app. Which means that the range of colours and lighting modes are almost infinite when the light is controlled in this way – how cool is that?!

For a really atmospheric table lamp, you can’t go wrong with a stunning LED decorative light like this Patio one, perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.

I love that it is wireless and easily recharged thanks to its USB port.  It’s a really great accent lamp for dining or reading by.  It has a diffused light to avoid glare and can be set to three different levels of brightness, so it’s really versatile!

So as you can see, if you want to make the most of the summer weather and spend extra time in your outdoor space, consider investing in some gorgeous outdoor lighting to add atmosphere and illumination for those long, mild evenings.
