I love fresh flowers, don’t you? The way they instantly brighten up a space and add some visual texture and colour.
Christmas is a great time to enjoy beautiful flowers in your home, or to give as a gift. My favourite festive flower displays contain white roses, eucalyptus and red berries – I just don’t think you can beat that combination for the perfect Christmas look, how about you? I’ve recently been introduced to a great website that is dedicated to gorgeous flowers, called Funny How Flowers Do That. So if you fancy decorating with flowers this Christmas, the team there have been busy creating a video with some great inspiration for the festive season to help you add style to your home using flowers. It’s only a minute or so long and yet it has given me so many modern ideas about how to create something special with flowers! Why not take a look?
Did you have a favourite idea? I loved the little glass vases suspended from the holly garland; in fact I felt so inspired when I watched that I decided to treat myself to a few gorgeousbloom tube vases from Rowen & Wren and have tried some flowers and foliage in them on our Christmas tree for a different look.
Although I think they would be even more fabulous hanging from a wintry branch suspended over the dining table, don’t you? I must find one when we’re next out walking that I can spray paint white or with some fake snow and wrap in string lights for a stunning, frosty look.
