Instant Update with a Cult Living Grosvenor Padded Office Chair

Recently I was able to give my little home working set up a revamp, with the addition of a fabulous new leather look office chair by Cult Furniture.

Gold black desk chair

So many desk chairs are, let’s be frank, fugly.  Big and bulky with clunking great chrome bases.  So I’d been keeping an eye out for something more streamlined and easy on the eye for ages.

But it had to be practical, too, as I would be sitting at it a great deal – and having suffered with a bad back it was vital that as well as looking the biz, I’d be able to maintain good posture, too.

Step forward the sleek and modern Grosvenor Padded Leather Office Chair – a really stylish and comfy option for the home or work office.

Boardroom Chair

What immediately strikes you about this chair is the cool, retro silouette and gold elements.  It features a lightly padded black faux leather seat and back rest, slender angled arms and that pretty blingy gold base with swivel castors.

What I love is that there’s no ungainly, chunkiness about this office chair, it looks refined and it is.

Gold chair base

The slender arms perfectly complement the realistic looking matt leather and the gold finish makes a refreshing and up to date change from chrome.

The seat is roomy and together with the back rest is comfortably padded but firm enough to feel supportive.  The splayed out feet and castors give it great stability and balance, allowing for good manoeuvrability.  I add a small cushion for my lower back when sitting for any length of time and it feels great working at my desk now.

An office chair that makes a style statement deserves a little desk upgrade, so I added a few accessories using things I already had at home.  But I also couldn’t resist creating a mood board including some items from Cult Furniture I know I could be tempted to buy.  What do you think?  Product names and prices are listed below:

Cult Living
Cult Living Franklin Metal Desk Lamp £59 // Cult Living Grosvenor Padded Leather Office Chair £169 // Cult Living Good Vibes Typography Print from £19 // Cult Design Astrid Home Office Desk £299 // Cult Design Stone Studio Concrete & Wire Mini Desk Clock £24 // Cult Living Metallic Geometric Cushion £25 // Wild & Wolf Retro Gold telephone £42.95

Thanks to Cult Furniture for sending me a sample chair for the purposes of this review – all thoughts and opinions are genuine and my own as always.
