My Perfect Luxury Living Space with ‘Ginspiration’ from Juliette’s Interiors

We all aspire to a little high end luxury once in a while, don’t we?  Whether its a stunning room we’d like to create in our own home or a glamorous 5* boutique hotel we’d love to stay at, I think everyone deserves some luxury in their lives.

With home interiors, its not often that I get the chance to imagine a truly luxe design, so when I occasionally do, its fun to create a more prestigious and aspirational mood board.

Luxury velvet sofa

So I was excited to team up with the exclusive Chelsea boutique and interior design company, Juliette’s Interiors recently.   The team challenged me to come up with a room design where luxury is key.

Launched in 2005 by Director, Juliette Thomas, the company has a high class clientele.  Customers have high standards and expect exquisite design and quality, in a mixture of modern and traditional styles.  Specialising in residential, high end, luxury interiors and property, their services range from supplying a single item of furniture to a property build and development.

Juliette’s Interiors have tapped into the fashionable gin cocktails trend by offering their clients an AM-AZ-ING high end gin trolley called ‘Juniper’ that has to be seen to be believed.

The Most Perfect Modern Gin Trolley

Modern Drinks Trolley

A statement in quality, the Juniper Modern Gin Trolley is a multi-functional wonder, combining top of the range materials and features to ensure it is the perfect luxury item for the home – ideal for a relaxing evening spent with friends.  With a drawer section to hold a range of glasses and cocktail accessories, everything is to hand to create amazing drinks that will impress your guests and it even has a built-in ventilated cabinet and mini fridge.

The finish is pure luxe with high gloss laminated birch and diamond polished acrylic storage.  The designer wooden castors enable easy movement so you can take it outdoors for an alfresco evening.  Everything possible has been thought of to provide an exceptional statement piece, one that is even easy to clean and maintain.

So of course the Juniper had to take centre stage in my room design.  I really thought about the materials and finishes I would expect in a room that contains such an iconic drinks trolley.  When I think about a luxury interior, for me its marble, stunning inlaid wood and brass details, butter-soft leather and nubuck, glass, crystal, velvet and silk that spring to mind.   I wanted to include some of these in my room.

Some people will demand high end glamour throughout their residence and have the budget to enable them to create a truly polished home.  Others, like me, would prefer to mix the occasional high end piece with vintage finds and quirky accessories, for example I would set something like Juliette’s beautiful large Art Deco Polished Nickel Floor Lamp against a polished concrete floor because I love a more eclectic and unexpected mix of materials.  I would also add designer cushions and edgy artwork, such as the wall art from Mineheart to introduce some playful quirkyness or even neon signs.  A luxury interior is really what you consider it to be!

#Ginspiration Luxe Living Room Design

My luxe living room would include herringbone marble tiling with a brass inlay (this stunning example below is from a company I came across recently thanks to Swoon Worthy and they are called Mosaique Surface).  There would also be exceedingly comfy seating in leather or velvet and plush rugs underfoot, as well as glam metal side tables and statement lighting.

Of course the one and only Juniper trolley would be at the heart of the design and along with it my luxe living room would also contain a bar area for entertaining friends – influenced by the one at Sketch London which had an impact on me when I visited last year.

So, can you imagine sipping delicious gin cocktails in this kind of a space?
