This Guide Will Help you to Choose the Best Wedding Colours

Creating an absolutely stunning wedding theme requires you to think about lots of different things. This can be very difficult to do, but it is possible for you to make good decisions if you simply have a vision for what you want your big day to look like. If you want some additional help then look below.

Choose a Solid Base Colour

Your base colour will be used all throughout your wedding. Your base colour can be anything you want it to be, from jade green to navy blue or even blush pink. It should be a colour that you absolutely love if possible. You can then mix in some accent colours. These accent colours will really round off some of your harsher colours and they will also help to add another dimension too. you can add anything here, from contrasting hues to neutral tones and more. If you can, make sure that your outfit ties in with your base colour. One way you can do this would be for you to make sure that you choose some nice green wedding ties, if you went with the jade green theme for example.

Think about the Season

Another thing that you have to try and do is think about the season when it comes to your wedding theme. You can choose any colours you want here, and you should not limit yourself to choosing certain colours just because of the season. That being said, if you are feeling stuck, looking to the season is a good idea. As a good example, you might want to try and choose dark jewelled tones such as navy blue or even marsala red if you know that the weather around you is cold. Bold or bright colours however tend to lend themselves much better to summer celebrations.

Think about Your Venue

Next, you have to give some thought to your venue and also to your surroundings. Are you getting married in an open warehouse with nice empty walls or are you opting for a ballroom with ornate wallpaper? At the end of the day if you go for a venue that has a blank slate, then this will give you a lot of freedom. If you opt for a venue that has decoration already, then look at the colours that are in the space, and then use them to try and determine your colour palette.

What is Your Style?

At the end of the day, pinpointing your style is a very essential step if you want to make the most out of your wedding colours. If you opt for a traditional wedding, then this may not match bright blue or even pink for example. If you are going for a modern trendy or bright theme on the other hand then this may work perfectly with what you want, so try and be mindful of this if possible. You may be surprised at what options there are available out there, and this can help you to push the boundaries more.
